Fundraisers

Raise funds for your organization, through a quick activity that needs little manpower to run AND promotes physical activity for students and parents alike!! 

“After School Skate” Your organization can rent 2/3 ($100) OR the entire rink ($150) at SportsZone any Monday – Friday after school from 4:30p – 6:00p. You charge the fee you like at the door for students / parents to skate! Rental fee for SportsZone’s skates is $2 (retained by SportsZone) or kids can bring their own. Here’s a standard formula to follow using an entry fee of    $5 / person:

                                               x   100 participants

                                                  $500

                                               -  $150 SportsZone full rink rental fee

                                                  $350 profit to your organization

That’s $350 profit for your organization in 1 ½ hours! Very little work needed – only promotion within school and newsletters as well as some volunteer work from parents for the 90 minutes in helping with skates, working your entry table, etc. More participants = more money in your bank account!

“Spirit Night Saturday Skate” SportsZone’s normal Saturday night features two sessions of public roller skating. Session I is from 5p-8p; Session II is from 8:00p-11:00p. Your organization adopts a designated session to promote with flyers, coupons, within newsletters, etc as it’s own “Spirit Night”. The normal rate to skate for a SZ non-member is $10.  For each $10 entry fee with your coupon for that session, SportsZone will bounce $1.50 back into your organization. Once again, skate rental is $2 (retained by SportsZone) or kids can bring their own.
